President Obama has received many honors during his term: the Nobel Peace Prize, Time's Man of the Year, and now, his very own species of spider. The eight-legged namesake is aptostichus barackobamai, which will probably result in a lot of bullying when he goes to spider middle school. The species was one of 33 new types of trapdoor spider discovered by researchers in the southwestern U.S., and researcher Jason Bond described the new species as "some of the most beautiful with which I have worked."
