Barbara Walters slams 'Bachelor' as degrading

Barbara Walters may work for ABC, but that didn't dissuade her from launching into a head-on attack on one of its most popular shows today. Walters used the Hot Topics segment of "The View" to voice her distaste for "The Bachelor." "'The Bachelor' is such a degradation to women!" she fumed. "You hear these women say 'I love you so!' and he turns them down. Why?" Walters' cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck defended the matchmaking nightmare as a real-life fairy tale (and added that she has watched every season). But Twitter user @angelabarsi took Baba Wawa one step further by dismissing the show by calling it a "degradation to humans."
