Basketball player scores incredible 113 points in game
4/4/2012Do we dare call it Akkari-nsanity? Since his season scoring average is a bit over seven points a game, there might be some question whether Mohammad El Akkari could score 100 in an empty gym, much less against an actual opponent. But no more. The undistinguished 27-year-old guard for Moutahed went off for 113 points in his team's 173-141 win over Bejjeh in a Lebanese A league game, which makes you wonder how bad the defense in the Lebanese B league must be. Akkari made a mind-boggling 32 of 59 3-point attempts, and, to add to the lunacy, made just a single free throw. "I think it's all a result of my practice," he humbly says.
Should Akkari be invited to the next NBA 3-point contest?
