Viral waterspout footage shows Mother Nature humbling us all

A YouTube user managed to capture incredible footage of this furious waterspout ripping a storm off the coast of Batemans Bay in New South Wales. The tornado-like columnar vortex, which is filled with condensation droplets that make it look like a massive tower of water — sent droves of awestruck Aussies outside with their storm-battered cameras in tow. The spout didn't cause any known damage, but forecasters say it's just the beginning of treacherous weather in the region.
