Bear likes to chill in the pool, check out the view, too

Imagine coming home to find a bear casually splashing around in your family pool. That's exactly what happened to Rachel and Valerie Gasparini, two teenage sisters, in Monrovia, California. Captured on smartphone video (taken from from the safety of the family kitchen), the bear is shown paddling around the pool and taking in the view of the San Gabriel Valley. CNN notes that they called their parents, but not 911: "It wasn't any making a ruckus or it wasn't like destroying things in our backyard, so we didn't really feel the need to call anybody," Valerie said. The bear eventually ambled off on its own. ​
