Grandma sued by homeowners association for pink playhouse

A color war has been ignited in a neighborhood in Augusta, Ga., by, of all things, a little girl's backyard playhouse. Becky Rogers-Peck is being sued by the busybodies from the local homeowners association — not for having built the tiny structure for her 4-year-old granddaughter, Aubree, but for making it pink. Rogers-Peck is digging in to fight the association's ironfisted rule, but HOA president Susan Bradley is refusing to back down. "We didn't disapprove of the playhouse. We disapproved of the color of it," she says. Rogers-Peck says the playhouse is play equipment and should be exempt. "This is absurd as you can get,” she says.
