Bee Gees singer is in a coma amid battle with pneumonia
4/14/2012The man who sang the famous disco hit "Stayin' Alive" is in a coma after an ongoing battle with colon and liver cancer, and it's reported that he may have only days to live. According to UK tabloid The Sun, Robin Gibb, the singer for the Bee Gees, is in a London hospital surrounded by family members, who are holding a bedside vigil. The 62-year-old had announced earlier this year he'd made a "spectacular" recovery from the disease but in late March was forced to undergo intestinal surgery. "He has kept so positive and always believed he could beat this," said a family friend. "Sadly, it looks like he has developed pneumonia, which is very bad in his situation."
