11/30/2012Pro tip: If you're a spy, in order to do your job as well as you can, it's best, nay, it's required, that you keep your position as a spy very quiet. In other words, the first rule of being a spy is don't talk about being a spy. This, however, was lost on several Belgian spies who decided to post on their Linkedin profiles that they worked as analysts for the country's Coordinating Body for Threat Analysis (OCAM), basically the Belgian version of the CIA. Intelligence officials say having such prominent, public profiles puts agents at risk of being targeted by foreign, hostile agencies. And it's also just a rookie move. [Source]
