Beloved bunny kidnapped from N.Y. boutique by jerks3/17/2012
When will we be spared from tragic bunny-related news? We've already lost the rare earless Til to a careless cameraman, and now a beloved floppy-eared bunny who's a fixture of a New York boutique has reportedly been kidnapped. The bunny, known as Miss Cooper, was allegedly snatched from her 3-by-5-foot enclosure in the window display of the Alexander Berardi clothing store by a pair of cowboy-hat-wearing thieves. According to designer Christopher Kulukundis, two regular visitors to the store who often came in to see the bunny and called themselves artists, took Miss Cooper while Kulukundis was helping another customer. Lots of boutique-goers are likely to be sad to hear of the rabbit's disappearance; Kulukundis says Miss Cooper's other, less-kidnappy fans include celebrities like actress Jane Krakowski and model Christy Turlington.
