Ben Affleck is going to be hungry. Really hungry. The actor/director isn't being paid millions to lose weight for a role with "look how skinny he got" Oscar ambitions. Nope, Affleck will spend only $1.50 per day on food and drink, for five days, to raise awareness for the Global Poverty Project's "Live Below the Line" campaign. Seriously, what will $1.50 even buy? Rice and beans for every meal? Maybe. (And boy, will he get tired of rice and beans.) He'll have to figure it out while his stomach is growling, like 1.4 billion people around the world who live in extreme poverty every day — and obviously that's the point. The challenge runs April 29 to May 3. [Source]
