Fox looks stunned when one of their own says we should tax rich people

Things you see every day: famous conservatives talking about taxes on rich people. Things you don't see every day: famous conservatives advocating taxes on rich people. Yet that's exactly what well-known conservative economist Ben Stein did Thursday on "Fox & Friends" (much to the apparent shock and chagrin of hosts Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson) when he appeared on the show and announced he doesn't see a way to cut spending enough to make a meaningful difference, noting we must instead raise taxes on "very rich people, people with incomes of like say, 2, 3 million a year and up." Stein was apparently aware of the Judas-like nature of his comment, which has spread like wildfire on the Internet, saying, "I hope I'll be allowed to leave here alive."
