Just when you thought the Chick-fil-A controversy was dying down, the Berenstain Bears have jumped into the fray. Publishers of the popular children's literary series are facing pressure to pull out of a marketing partnership with the chicken chain to take a stand against homophobia. Chick-fil-A plans to distribute "The Berenstain Bears" books as part of an upcoming kid's-meal promotion, but gay-rights advocates say the restaurant's president is exhibiting "exactly the kind of social intolerance that Papa, Mama, Brother, Sister and Honey Bear educate young readers to avoid."
