Politician suggests going green by going yellow in the shower
1/11/2013If only George Costanza had lived in the Netherlands. A city councilman in the town of Aa en Hunze is encouraging residents to pee in the shower in order to conserve water. "[Urinating in the shower] saves lots of clean water and is good for the environment," Bert Wassink said. "If you combine showers and peeing, you save a lot of water and money, so why not?" Wassink is a member of GroenLinks, a super-green party, and was quick to point out that he's No. 1 when it comes to conservation. (In other words, he already does some bathroom multitasking). Sorry, George, but your health club peeing incident was just way ahead of its time. [Source]
