Best bosses ever give $16 million bonus to stoic staff

​Maybe this is the Swedish dream. Siblings Inger and Sixten Norhed own Nominit, a rivet manufacturing company in southern Sweden — and they've just handed out over $16 million to their 50-person staff. The best part: They're giving out the massive bonuses to both current and former employees. (We know — just like your old boss would do, right?) With the Norheds retiring, the company itself will be transferred to "a foundation which will safeguard the well-being of the staff and former employees as well as promoting research." Unsurprisingly, the staff responded in a pro-forma Swedish, low-key style: "You'd think that the whole work shop would be running around completely crazy and spraying Champagne," one employee said. "But it is really business as usual. Both feet on the ground in other words, even though of course we are happy."
