Best Buy tells customers to keep the 5 iPads they sent by mistake

It’s the season of giving, but for a pair of Best Buy customers, it was better to receive — a rare instance of generosity from a big corporation, that is. Recently, the consumer electronics behemoth shipped iPads to two different customers. Each person had ordered one iPad. But when they opened their respective orders, they were shocked at what they found: not a single iPad, but five. What was more shocking was Best Buy’s response. Both customers reported the mistake, but the company, while acknowledging that the shipments were mistakes, told the lucky recipients to keep all of the iPads and encouraged them to give the tablets away to others who needed them, such as schools.
