'Best Funeral Ever' is the final nail in the tacky reality TV coffin
12/14/2012Just when you think reality TV can't possibly go any lower, it always manages to sink to some previously unfathomable level. The latest example: a special from TLC (the network we have to thank for Honey Boo Boo, among other treasures) titled "Best Funeral Ever," which goes behind the scenes of Dallas-based Golden Gate Funeral Home. The parlor works with families who've lost loved ones to create unconventional memorials, including a Christmas-inspired funeral and another with a barbecue theme. The special, set to air December 26, could function as a "backdoor pilot" to a full, presumably monstrously trashy series. [Source]
