Betty White pranks co-star Valerie Bertinelli on Twitter

One of the first things Betty White did after joining Twitter - right after flirting with Ryan Seacrest, that is - was to prank her "Hot in Cleveland" co-star Valerie Bertinelli. "Just spoke with Betty and she is VERY upset! @BettyMWhite is NOT her. Don't know how they got verified, but it is not Betty. Please RT!" Bertinelli tweeted Wednesday, causing confusion, outrage and widespread White unfollowing. An hour later, Bertinelli wrote, "Stop the presses! Betty just got a call. An account was opened on her behalf by her people," followed by "It's all a misunderstanding ... @BettyMWhite IS Betty's Twitter account! Now follow me back, bitch! ;-)"; Bertinelli finally sheepishly acknowledged, "I think @BettyMWhite pranked me but good! #blushing."
