Beyoncé adds writing award to her star-studded resume

Beyoncé has sold millions of albums, won loads of music awards, starred in critically acclaimed movies, and is currently the holder of the prestigious "Most Beautiful Woman in the World" title -- and is about to become an award-winning journalist, too. The New York Association of Black Journalists will honor the 30-year-old for an Essence magazine article she wrote called, "Eat, Play, Love." The July 2011 piece focused on her (still totally cool and glamorous) life away from the limelight during her 2010 hiatus, proving the superstar is so talented she even wins awards when she's on vacation. She'll get the prize at a fancy ceremony on May 15.
