Beyonce faked America out Monday, didn't sing national anthem live

Beyonce, we're disappointed! The singer's gorgeous performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" gave us chills during the inauguration, but we'd like those chills back, thankyouverymuch. The word is out that, although the United States Marine Band played their instruments live, the beautifully adorned Beyonce recorded her part in advance. She lip-synced the entire song, which makes her dramatic "I don't need this stinkin' earpiece" move seem super-ridiculous in retrospect. "All music is prerecorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day," a Marine band rep said.
