Beyonce rips out earpiece, nails national anthem anyway
1/21/2013Barack Obama got two kisses and Joe Biden got snubbed, but no one watching Monday's presidential inauguration could get enough of Beyonce ... Except maybe Beyonce herself. Just as the bombs were bursting in air during her beautiful rendition of the national anthem, feedback was apparently bursting in her ear. So she quickly pulled out the offending earpiece and brought the song home without the crutch of a monitor. Now it's on to the Super Bowl halftime show for Beyonce, where it's hoped she won't have a similar sound glitch. Or a wardrobe malfunction.
