Bible: the movie? The Good Book gets written as a screenplay
7/30/2012For all those lazy Christians out there who'd rather see the movie than read the Bible, here's a compromise. A new translation from a publisher in Nashville, Tenn., has rewritten the holy book as if it were a screenplay. The biblical characters have lines and the book is replete with scene descriptions and actor directions. For instance, the Genesis passage where God gets mad at Adam for eating the apple has dialogue. In one bit, Adam says, while pointing at the woman, "It was she! The woman You gave me as a companion put the fruit in my hands, and I ate it." God (to the woman): "What have you done?" Eve: "It was the serpent!" Guess it's time to grab some popcorn and start reading the good book. [Source]
