Yep, apparently big cats get wasted from catnip, too

We all know housecats trip out big-time on catnip, which is basically feline weed. But do big cats get high off the stuff too? The answer, according to this video, is a resounding yes. Shot in 2010, the vid is going viral again today (maybe everyone's got pot on the brain with the recent marijuana legalization measures) with its depictions of big cats gone wild, though we don’t approve of the sleazy music these animals apparently listen to while binging on the herb. Still, we are hopeful that, because this video was uploaded by Big Cat Rescue, these animals were in rescue facilities, safe from poachers, before they got high.
