Bikini ban could force Jersey Shore babes to wear clothes
6/27/2012In a bid to bring a little class to the real Jersey Shore (as opposed to the TV show, which would be an exercise in futility), a former council member is asking the city of Asbury Park to enforce a 40-year-old ordinance which forbids the wearing of bathing suits on the city's boardwalk. Old biddy, all-round killjoy, and Republican chairwoman, Louise Murray is behind the move. "I had my day, the window's obviously closed, but even at my best day I never walked in a bar in a bathing suit," she said. "Do you really want to be sitting in a restaurant and seeing somebody come up half-dressed? Current councilman, Kevin Sanders, is one person who probably does. He describes the rules as "archaic."
Does seeing people in their swimsuits bother you?
