Globes stars swoon when Bill Clinton shows up onstage

We expect to be dazzled by Hollywood's best-known stars at the Golden Globes, yet somehow we managed to be well and truly star-struck when former president Bill Clinton took the stage to present the Best Picture nomination for "Lincoln." A room full of tastemakers leapt to their feet in a standing ovation once he took the stage, looking a little trimmer but otherwise un-aged from his tenure in office. While we were excited to see him, it was a little weird to see someone of actual historic significance present a movie clip, even if it was a movie about someone of actual historical significance. Of course, Amy Poehler found a way to make a joke out of one of the Golden Globes' biggest moments, gushing, "Wow — that was Hillary Clinton's husband!"
