10/11/2012In keeping with the new trend of discussing topics that have consumed human philosophical debate for thousands of years in 140 characters or less, famous atheist Bill Maher popped off about Newsweek’s “Heaven Is Real” cover (which cites a doctor’s alleged out-of-body experience while in a coma) being less journalism and more an opportunistic grab at relevancy. Newsweek editor Tina Brown volleyed right back, basically tweeting at him to go to H-E-double-hockey-sticks. Now atheists and after-lifers are weighing in full tilt in a highly abbreviated debate about the afterlife, jumping in on either Tina or Bill’s side. [Source]
