Strippers in Texas might soon need a license to do their thing
1/9/2013If a Texas lawmaker has his way, strippers there will soon need a license that could be displayed "around the neck ... or on their shoes ... or attached to a head band," according to its sponsor, State Rep. Bill Zedler. Make no mistake: Zedler's bill, which would also require a course on human trafficking, is meant to be a hassle: "I think it would keep a lot of girls from getting involved in that lifestyle. This will force everyone to clean up their act," Zedler says. Well, at least the women — it doesn't sound like the owners of these fine establishments would need to undergo similar embarrassments.
