Want Billy Idol to play your party? Annoy him for two years about it

It took two years, but Michael Henrichsen is finally getting what he wants for his birthday. In 2010, Henrichsen heard Billy Idol on the radio and quipped to one of his coworkers, "Wouldn't it be cool if he played my birthday party?" That idea grew into a full-on "Rebel Yell," after two years of pestering the singer through a website (playmybirthdaybillyidol.com), endorsements from C-list celebs and "Billy Idol Aid," Henrichsen's series of charity concerts that raised over $10,000 for the Red Cross. Idol gave in. On Friday, he'll play Henrichsen's party in Seattle. "Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't [do] something," Henrichsen wrote. "Dreams do come true."
