11/23/2012Is this the sound of a percolating economy? Watch this bargain-hunting frenzy, apparently shot in a Wal-Mart store in Moultrie, Ga., today and judge for yourself. Forget minding your Ps and Qs; there was full-on clawing, screaming and shoving when discounted smartphones were unveiled. Haven’t lost faith in humanity yet? It’s this kind of behavior that explains why striking Wal-Mart workers don’t want to work over the holidays, and makes us happy to stay home surfing the Internet and eating turkey sandwiches.
