'Olwimpics' browser app shields you from summer-games hysteria
7/29/2012We're not trying to be spoil-sports. But it's fascinating how, not even a full day into the Olympics, the online hysteria is getting so intense that someone’s developed a free browser extension that will block all mention of the games from your Internet perusings. Seriously?! THE FIRST DAY IN? Appropriately called "Olwimpics," the extension leaves you free to blissfully pursue work or cat videos online, like any other day out of the four years between each summer-games show, without constant updates on who ran how many meters or triumphed over adversity and whatnot. Kind of sad, or simply genius? [Source]
How many days into the games would you consider using this blocker?
