Bloodhound gets $15,800 worth of cosmetic surgery
3/6/2012Before his tummy tuck, facelift and other surgeries, Junior, a five-year-old bloodhound in Britain, looked like a "grumpy old man." But now he's "like a young man again," his owners told the Daily Mail. "He must have felt awful for so long," Denise Smart said. "He's like a child to us." (Actually, Junior's real parent was a champ at Crufts, the world's largest dog show.) The medical attention, which is all to help Junior deal with a condition that produces excess skin, has cost his owners more than £10,000 ($15,800) in less than two years. That's a lot of bones.
