My astute political observation following the debate: I'd vote for Bob Schieffer if he'd run :-)

Bob Schieffer should have moderated all four debates. He did a marvelous job. "Be sure to vote. It'll make you feel big and strong."

I thought that the moderator, Bob Schieffer, did a fantastic job. Like w/ sports referees, the best story is no story. #debate #LynnDebate

Bob Schieffer feels the Twitter love for a good job moderating debate

10/23/2012

Give it up for Bob Schieffer, the real winner of Monday night’s third and final presidential debate. The veteran broadcaster was praised by both sides of the political spectrum for the way he moderated the foreign policy head-to-head in Florida. Unlike previous debate moderators Jim Lehrer, Martha Raddatz and Candy Crowley, Schieffer managed to avoid upsetting both Republicans and Democrats, leaving aside his “Obama bin Laden” error, and earned plaudits from a large number of tweeters. He certainly achieved two big highlights according to Twitter: first by stating “I think we all love teachers,” and then by signing off quoting the words of mom: “Go vote, it makes you feel big and strong.” Don't go anywhere, Bob. We'll need you again in 2016.
