Bobby Brown says Whitney into drugs 'way before' him
5/2/2012Bobby Brown insists he wasn't the one that introduced Whitney Houston to the drugs that eventually played a probable role in her death. "I didn't get high [on narcotics] before I met Whitney," Brown told Matt Lauer on "Today." "I smoked weed, I drank the beer, but no, I wasn't the one that got Whitney on drugs at all." In fact, he said, Houston was into drugs "way before" they got together and he "worried" about her use before trying them himself. "I'm not the reason she's gone," Brown said, adding, "I can honestly say that I loved that woman with everything that I am, and I believe she loved me the same way."
