Cops find unidentified man encased in newly poured slab of concrete
1/2/2013The Whittier Police Department in California is investigating a crime that sounds like it was pulled from the pages of a Michael Connelly novel. Detectives are trying to identify a body that was discovered inside a newly poured block of concrete outside a heating and air-conditioning business. They've already arrested 35-year-old Juan Alberto Galviz as a "person of interest," but have yet to learn the identity of the male victim or the connection between the two men. The man's murder was reportedly the result of a "feud" with Galviz, whose bail has been set at $1,007,500. [Source]
