Body found in Rambo lair believed to be murder suspect
4/28/2012SWAT teams spent a long night surrounding the entrance to an elaborate network of multi-level tunnels carved into the Cascade foothills in Washington state by kooky survivalist Peter Keller. Keller's wife and daughter were found Sunday shot to death in his burning house before flames could detonate seven strategically placed gasoline cans. So, naturally, officials feared rushing into the Rambo-style deep-woods lair, suspecting it was booby-trapped. Instead, they pumped tear gas inside the hidey-hole and a tactical team quietly removed material from the top of the underground fortress to reveal a dead man, which they believe is Keller. Officials can't yet confirm that Keller killed himself, but a pistol was found near the body.
