Boy with cerebral palsy finishes triathlon thanks to his brother
7/26/2012Conner Long, 9, wouldn't remember "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother," but that's a fitting soundtrack for his commitment to his younger sibling. The Tennessee boy completed the three events of the New England Kids Triathlon — a 100 meter swim, a 3 mile bike ride and a 1/2-mile run — while accompanied by his brother Cayden, who has cerebral palsy. Conner towed Cayden behind him in a raft, pulled him in a cart behind his bike and pushed him during the run. Team Long Brothers, as they call themselves, have competed in several triathlons together. "[They are] two brothers who share a love for each other and for racing," their Facebook page says. And inspiration. They share that with us too. [Source]
