Hero BF takes lethal bullet to save sweetheart in massacre

During the horrific and bloody scene in the Aurora, Colo., movie theater Friday night, a heroic young man dove on top of his girlfriend, taking a lethal bullet to save her life. Twenty-one-year-old Jansen Young said she was one of the many moviegoers who thought it was part of the show when a shooter emerged from a side door and threw a smoke device into the audience. But her boyfriend Jon Blunk knew better. Instinctively, Blunk dove on top of his sweetheart, pushing her head under the chair and acting as a human shield. It wasn't until the gory massacre was over that Young realized her boyfriend had sacrificed his own life to save hers. Blunk also leaves behind two children and an estranged wife who live in Nevada.
