All hail Brad Pitt, new king of the ottoman empire

Brad Pitt is launching a new line, and it's not what you'd expect. While other Hollywood A-listers like to publicize clothing and perfume lines, Pitt has joined forces with designer Frank Pollaro to create his own offering of fine tables, chairs and beds. According to Architectural Digest, the actor is presenting around a dozen self-designed furniture pieces in New York Nov. 13-15. Pitt's furniture fascination goes back 20 years. "I've been doodling ideas for buildings and furniture since the early 1990s," he says.
