Bradley Cooper reveals his hot date for the Oscars
1/14/2013Our dream of strolling the red carpet on Bradley Cooper's arm on Oscar night have just been dashed, but for the sweetest possible reason: He's taking his mom, Gloria. The Best Actor nominee for "Silver Linings Playbook" says he promised his mother years ago he'd take her to the Academy Awards if he ever got the nod. "One night, when I started the profession, [my mom said] 'If you ever [get nominated], I am the date,'" he told E!. When Mrs. C. found out last week her son had gotten the nomination, "she was freaking out," he said. Awww. Sounds like someone better take his mom fancy-dress shopping. [Source]
