Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 disrupted by fisticuffs

The second movement of Brahms' Symphony No. 2 comes to a close with a hushed elegance, but the refined silence of Chicago's Orchestra Hall was abruptly interrupted by the sounds of a scuffle. A 67-year-old man was left bleeding from his forehead after another symphony-goer rushed him in one of the box seats at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Although the concert never stopped - the conductor was described as swiftly shooting "dagger eyes" over his shoulder while the fight was going on - it appears that all in attendance were aware of the incident well before the police arrived. The cops said the fight was due to an argument over seats, but either way, here's hoping that next time the gentlemen will have the decency to settle scores in a bar with Bob Seger playing, as decorum demands.
