Construction worker survives being impaled with pole through head

This guy makes that story about the time you stapled your finger totally lame. Eduardo Leite was working a construction site in Brazil this week when a 6-foot steel pole fell five stories, pierced the man's hard hat, shot through his skull and popped out the other side. The near-miss was nothing short of miraculous, doctors said, with the steel bar coming out right between his eyes. They noted that if the trajectory had been just a hair to either side, Leite would have been partially paralyzed or worse.
