War hero, quadruple amputee makes history with double arm transplant
1/29/2013A young war vet has made history as the first soldier to receive a rare double arm transplant. The former U.S. Army soldier's life was changed on Easter Sunday, 2009, when a bomb in Iraq tore all four limbs from his body. [Source]
