Did famous author just ask us to bring him some coke on Twitter?
12/2/2012People tweet the darned things at 3:44 a.m. Even though Bret Easton Ellis, author of "American Psycho" and other transgressive fiction, can be a bit of a Twitter psycho, sending out "Come over at do bring coke now" to his 360,000 followers in the wee hours, surely it was just a joke. Or some postmodern literary experiment. Or, as follower @jamesrbuk suggested, the "Best DM fail ever." But we're convinced he was going for the laugh. After all, just a week ago he tweeted that he'd been playing the "Billy Jack" anthem "One Tin Soldier" over and over. Now that could drive a person to drugs. [Source]
