Suspect says he didn't plan to pin murder on victim’s cat
12/6/2012Murder plots may be a dime a dozen, but it's not every day a guy allegedly plans to pin a murder on his intended victim's cat. That's what authorities contend Illinois man Brett Nash had contemplated as one of several plots to murder a wealthy lawyer enamored with Nash's wife. Nash has admitted only to planning to abduct the lawyer and hold him for ransom; he denies hatching a plan to electrocute the attorney in a hot tub by throwing in a radio and making it look as if the guy's cat had knocked it over (still with us?). Too bad — could have been a purrfect crime. [Source]
