Bricks from bin Laden's house are selling for a nickel
5/1/2012Looking for a little keepsake to remember Osama bin Laden by? A contractor hired by the Pakistan government to remove the rubble of the terrorist's former hideaway is hawking thousands of bricks from the demolished three-story compound in Abbottabad. You sure can't beat the price. Shakeel Ahmed, who, fearing retribution, travels with a bodyguard, is selling them as souvenirs for less than nickel a piece. Ever since word spread, Pakistanis have been showing up to buy themselves a fiendish piece of history. Any leftover bricks, says Ahmed, will be sold at auction.
Would you consider buying a brick as a souvenir?
