Bride dies of cancer 90 minutes before her wedding
3/31/2012When Jemma Webb's ovarian cancer worsened a month before her wedding day, the 32-year-old Brit and her fiancé arranged to have a registrar marry them at home the next day. Tragically, Webb died only 90 minutes before she was set to exchange vows. Webb's fiancé, Alex Bradford, told the Daily Mail, "[Jemma] just kept herself together all through the illness. Jemma may have had cancer, but cancer never had Jemma." The registrar had been arranged to arrive at the couple's home at 4:30 on March 17, but at 3 p.m., Webb died, surrounded by her family and fiancé.
