Driver calls fire department after she's trapped by hungry glove box

Ever have one of those days when you feel like you just should've stayed in bed? One British driver did when she spent several hours getting her hand removed from the glove compartment of her car. The 49-year-old woman said she'd been trying to get something out of the compartment when her wrist got lodged inside. After a lot of wriggling and pulling and (we're guessing) cursing, she called the fire department to help her get free, and no, that's not embarrassing at all. "If someone is stuck, they are stuck," fire crew manager Stuart Hall said. "We don't train for something exactly like this, but we will always be able to get people free." [Source]
