Oops … California says Britney Spears owes $37,000 in back taxes

Now, just when we thought that terrible era was behind us forever, the state of California is linking Britney to her ex and his bad juju again with a claim that the two of them owe $37,127.21 in back taxes from 2004. Spears' representatives say the state's tax lien is a mistake stemming from a mixup between Spears and her ex, and it should be resolved shortly, much like everything else in Britney's life related to 2004 and Kevin Federline.
