'DWTS' host assures fans she's in it to win it in fight against cancer

Brooke Burke-Charvet doesn't want you to worry about her. The "Dancing With the Stars" host has posted an intimate video on YouTube, in which she sits on a bed, wearing leggings and a T-shirt, and faces the camera makeup-free to tell us she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Burke-Charvet calmly explains she's going to get treatment and be just fine, sporting a "nice big scar" across her neck as a thyroidectomy memento. "I've actually never felt better and that's what’s so crazy about this whole thing," she says. "I'm just going to make a positive out of this negative thing." Someone hand this woman a mirror ball trophy for bravery.
