Brooklyn Nets unveil unexciting new logo

​The Brooklyn Nets officially unveiled their Jay-Z designed logo today and a promotional video for their move from New Jersey, but like most moves for the beleaguered franchise, they landed with a thud. "Obviously very cool of them to let Jay-Z mess around in Adobe Pagemaker and all, but when are the Nets going to reveal their actual logo?" tweeted The Classical's @david_j_roth, while SBNation's @andrewsharp called the commercial "stupid." Watch it and decide for yourself. You might like the old-timey ode to Brooklyn's neighborhood vibe, or you might not. It's certainly not black and white ... unlike the uninspired new logo.
