Real-life Los Pollos Hermanos busted selling fast food and meth8/29/2012
In a sting operation they called "Operation Dirty Taco" (stop snickering), a group of California undercover officers busted a food truck, run by two brothers, for serving Mexican food with a side of meth or marijuana. Their customers could order drugs off the menu and they'd be served up in Styrofoam beside the non-smokable parts of the illegal combo deal. Apparently the food sucked, too, which could've been the tip-off. "The tacos weren't that good," commander Martin Horan said. "They looked to be rather dry and [inedible]." Brothers Juan and Ernesto Paez were arrested and … wait … are the cops sure they didn't just stumble into Los Pollos Hermanos from "Breaking Bad"? [Source]
Which is worse: selling drugs or selling bad tacos?
